"Friendship IXX" - Khalil Gibran

I believe that this poem is about how you depend on your friends and how you can always go to them for help. It's about appreciating your friends when they're gone and how they know your best and your worst. It's about how your friends make you happy with the littlest things.
This poem uses alliteration, metaphors, similes, assonance, imagery, and repetition. Metaphors include, "He is your field which you sow with love". Similes and imagery is portrayed in , "For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain".
