Poetry Analysis 

"Lies about Love"- D H Lawrence         

The poem "Lies about Love" talks about how feelings change through out your relationships with your friends. and how you shouldn't buy friendship because it's only a fixed value. The elements of this poem would be considered a Blank verse for the reason of  unrhymed iambic which appears  very frequent. 

"And Where Were You?" - Valerie Plame 

In my opinion the poem "And Where Were You" made me feel as if friends come and go, and not always are they stable. The elements of this poem mainly consists of a rhyme scheme because the identity of each sound  rhymes. The poem also contains consonance because in some verses it corresponds to harmony in the poem.
